Just the Way You Are ...

To have someone there to tell you how much they need you in their life. It's so sad to think that the people we love don't see what we see. It hurts you to hear that your best friend thinks that they aren't good enough. Every time they ask, "Do I look okay?" all you want to do is play them this song and let them hear the lyrics "...you're amazing just the way you are." There is no guarantee that this life will be easy, and sometimes I have to tell myself that I'm amazing just the way I am. No one will be allowed to tell me otherwise. The truth is we are ALL amazing the way we are and it is sad to know that we don't all believe that.

Freedom rides

The day will come when I will get behind the wheel and set out to the unknown. This day will be move-in day for me, to the college of my dreams. I know that, that day is far off from today, but I look forward to it. The new adventures ill have and the friends ill make. Oh my freedom ride!
